More Than Food
Citizens Advice
Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank have partnered with a local organisation to offer a range of advice, support and options to assist people with their financial situations, with the aim of lifting them out of food poverty and back in a situation where they can afford the essentials.
Our Financial Inclusion Project is supported by The Trussell Trust and delivered within foodbank sessions by Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke-on-Trent, with the aim of providing support and advice to our clients for benefits and income maximisation, support with energy bills, general debt advice or even beginning to address deeper rooted debt and money problems.
Access to the service will be for clients who have been referred to the foodbank in the usual way but highlighted for support, as well as those who ask for extra help whilst they attend the foodbank or who are identified by our volunteers as able to benefit from the help.
