Our annual winter collections at Tesco stores in Trent Vale and Kidsgrove are among the most important events in our calendar. These collections help us to prepare for our busiest period as hundreds of families turn to our foodbank centres for support.

This year, the three-day collections at the end of November brought in just under 3,480kgs of food, toiletries and other essential items. This was only achievable with the support of an army of volunteers, including volunteers from Barclays, Vodafone and Aspire alongside our own dedicated teams who keep coming back to support us.
We’d also like to give a big round of applause to the staff at both stores for their help and support and of course to everyone who added something extra to their trolley to donate to Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank. You’re the best!
