Harvest Appeal 2026

Green crate filled with a variety of items that make up a food parcel

Harvest is one of the busiest periods in the foodbank calendar and every year schools, churches, groups, businesses and families come together to give thanks for the gifts they are blessed with.

The support from our community is vital in ensuring those who cannot afford life's essentials do not go without food and hygiene supplies during their toughest times.

And in 2026 we are calling on you again to please share what you can and donate to Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank as part of your Harvest celebrations.

To help get your Harvest Collection started, we can provide resources such as shopping lists, posters and social media content.

Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank works with non-perishable food items (tinned and dried goods), which do not spoil or decay. This means that neither the food bank nor the person receiving it has to worry about storing the food in a fridge or freezer, and there is less likelihood of food going to waste. It also means that we can give each person visiting the food bank a carefully designed food parcel that contains three days of nutritionally balanced food. Our project will also accept essential non-food items such as toiletries and hygiene products, helping people in crisis to maintain dignity and feel human again.

All items should be unopened, in date and in good condition, free from dents, leaks or damage. We do not give away food which has passed its used by date.

Delivery/Collection

It would be a great help to us if you could deliver the food to our warehouse at the following address.

18 Brock Way
Knutton
Newcastle-under-Lyme
ST5 6AZ
The warehouse is open on Mondays from 2pm until 4pm and on Wednesdays from 10am until 12 noon.

If a delivery of the items is not possible, then please contact us at warehouse@newcastlestaffs.foodbank.org.uk and we will arrange a date and time to collect it. This may mean keeping the food for a few days on your premises.
