Feeding our community

Thank you to everyone who supported our food drive at Tesco Kidsgrove in March. We weighed in 646.64kg of food - enough to provide 1,539 meals!

If you were unable to donate during the food drive, we have collection points available during store opening hours at Tesco Kidsgrove; Tesco Trent Vale and Sainsbury’s Newcastle. Please check out our shortages list here and leave your donation in the basket. Our volunteers empty these on a regular basis, with every donation given out to people in need across Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough.

If your shop, community centre, independent living complex, club, cafe or pub would like to host a collection point please get in touch with us on 07843 838499 or email warehouse@newcastlestaffs.foodbank.org.uk and we will support you with signage and regular updates on how much you have collected.

We hope to hold another food drive again at Tesco Kidsgrove in June. We are already recruiting volunteers to help welcome shoppers, hand out shopping lists and collect and date donations. Even just an hour or two of your time is really valuable to us during events like this.
