We serve the borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, providing emergency food parcels and other support to people in crisis. By being our administrator, you can make a real difference in your local community by providing vital help and support.
The role is the first point of contact with the Foodbank, so the successful candidate will have a natural empathy for people experiencing poverty. Successful applicants will be self-motivated and capable of using their own initiative, as well as being a strong team player. They must have had experience working in an administrative capacity, be a confident user of IT including Excel and PowerPoint, and social media. They will have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
The role initially is for a fixed term contract of 1 year (with a view to being extended) and has an hourly rate of £12.82 for 20 hours per week.
